  I purchased an expensive long hose with a sock for my ducted vacuum system. The sock cost around $80. After using it the first time the sock detached from its attachment because it was too short of the hose. When I took it back the man tried to attach it and tore the sock. I was expected to be happy with this and was made to feel like I was being unreasonable for not accepting the torn sock. I asked for a refund, it was given grudgingly.
